oh man i never thought i would even try this fad but my husband picked up for me some "skinny" jeans (my husband has good taste, he picks pretty much all my clothes!). surprisingly i really do like them! i'm VERY picky about clothing & i've never worn very tight-fitting ones much. tight usually = TOO SMALL. the jeans do fit snugly, but i don't feel like i am going to bust them open or barf from being too squished in. they really just FIT very closely. i've never been one to show off my chunk BUT i am size 13 & still feel as though i can rock these. i am a skinny-jean convert! i also like that the tag in my pants says SKINNY
my husband also bought me a pair of shoes.. they are pointy flats like in the photo, but they are black with little blue/turquoise roses printed all over. |

my husband asked me to close my eyes & hold out my hand. i was half-expecting him to lick it or do something else weird, but he slipped this ring onto my finger! aww, how romantic. it is made from a chocolate jelly ring, and that is extra special. xo

i never remember to post things here! it doesn't help that my camera is broken & picture-taking has become more difficult. my husband knows that the way to my heart is through my stomach & i like to eat weird things. actually, it is entirely possible my heart & belly are one in the same! we went to eat at ming chinese buffet the other night & check out the wise fortune i recieved, straight from yoda himself!!

rick got me some dvds!
i have a copy of "battle royale" but it is so clearly a bootleg it's pretty sad. this special edition version also includes the sequel & a disc of bonus features, which i believe are NOT translated or subtitled to english?? i haven't checked it out yet.
i've never seen the "suicide club" movie but he thinks it will be something up my alley.. ;) |

yesterday was my husbands bday, he turned 28! since he collects these japanese good luck "beckoning cats" i decided to try my hand at making one for him. it is felt & some very beginner emroidering (my first time!) sewn onto a small organizational hamper thing. |
